Therefore, in order to meet the higher requirements of different operating environments and different audio equipment, and to improve the sound quality of the entire audio system, various foreign companies engaged in speaker production are constantly committed to developing new products, improving electrical performance, and continuously developing new materials for special purposes New processes and application of new design methods. Therefore, in recent years, various types of loudspeakers have been introduced, which have the characteristics of high withstand power, high efficiency, and wide directivity.

At present, many foreign speaker manufacturing companies are using new magnetic materials, adopting a new design method that incorporates a new structure for magnetic flux balancing, reducing the inductance of the drive source, and heat conduction. This allows the magnetic energy product of the magnetic material to reach 3.6 MGsOe or more, which increases the capacity of the speaker to withstand power, and increases bass playback efforts. Some loudspeakers use titanium as their diaphragm, which greatly extends the high frequency of the speaker and improves its power capacity. The bass speaker adopts a laminated high-density composite paper basin. The voice coil adopts a flat wire, which can achieve high sensitivity due to its high duty factor and high utilization of magnetic circuit gaps.

Previously, the most commonly used horn in professional sound reinforcement was exponential type. Now, with the progress of technology, a new directional horn has gradually replaced the simple exponential type. The directional horn uses side walls of different shapes, transforming the simple linear and exponential forms into complex and discontinuous functional forms to achieve constant directivity.

In order to meet the needs of the home theater audio market, many companies are committed to researching and developing large-amplitude subwoofers. The most representative 18-inch subwoofer with radial neodymium magnetic systems achieves greater linear motion range by controlling the thickness of the roof and using a 0.5 inch voice coil in a 2-inch long magnetic gap to improve the subwoofer effect. In order to have a good bass effect on small loudspeakers, a structure similar to a suspended edge will be pasted behind the diaphragm, allowing the diaphragm to make a longer piston movement in a cylindrical frame, so that the vibration basin can move up to 2cm back and forth, and speakers with even smaller apertures can have a good bass effect.
